1. Acceptance

By downloading or using any Azimuth Systems app (The OOW Bible, The EOOW & ETO Bible) you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Study Aid — Not a Guarantee

Our apps are study aids only. Content is based on relevant MCA syllabi, IMO conventions, and STCW requirements. They are designed to help you prepare for MCA certificate of competence examinations.

We make no guarantee that using this app will result in passing any examination. Always verify exam content with official MCA publications and qualified maritime instructors before relying on any information for operational or examination purposes.

Azimuth Systems Ltd accepts no liability for exam outcomes, operational decisions, or actions taken based on content presented in this app.

3. AI Features Disclaimer

The AI Oral Simulator uses large language models to generate responses and feedback. AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. It is not a substitute for qualified maritime instruction. Do not rely on AI responses for safety-critical decisions at sea.

You must be 13 or older to use the AI Oral Simulator. By using it you confirm you are at least 13 years old.

4. Your Account

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• One account per person — accounts are non-transferable.
• You must not use the app for any unlawful purpose.

5. Subscriptions

• Premium features require an active subscription (monthly or annual).
• On iOS, subscriptions are managed and billed by Apple through your App Store account. To cancel, manage your subscription in your Apple ID settings.
• On Android, subscriptions are managed and billed by Google through your Google Play account. To cancel, manage your subscription in Google Play > Payments & subscriptions.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Refunds are subject to the refund policies of Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) respectively.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code in our apps is owned by Azimuth Systems Ltd or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Regulations and conventions (COLREGs, SOLAS, MIN 653, etc.) are public documents published by their respective authorities.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Azimuth Systems Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified in the app.
