The OOW Bible — Terms of Service

LAST UPDATED: AUGUST 2026

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using The OOW Bible you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Study Aid — Not a Guarantee

The OOW Bible is a study aid only. Its content is mapped to MIN 653 and draws on IMO conventions and STCW requirements. It is designed to help you prepare for the MCA OOW Unlimited certificate of competency examination and to serve as a quick reference.

We make no guarantee that using The OOW Bible will result in passing any examination. Always verify content against current official MCA publications and qualified maritime instructors before relying on any information for operational or examination purposes.

Azimuth Systems Ltd accepts no liability for exam outcomes, operational decisions, or actions taken based on content presented in The OOW Bible. Nothing in the app — including the quick reference — is fit for operational navigation.

3. AI Features Disclaimer

The AI Oral Examiner uses large language models to generate questions, grading and feedback. AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. It is not a substitute for qualified maritime instruction or a real MCA oral examination, and its verdict has no bearing on your actual exam result. Do not rely on AI responses for safety-critical decisions at sea.

You must be 13 or older to use the AI Oral Examiner. By using it you confirm you are at least 13 years old.
