Delete your HELM account
HELM is published by Azimuth Systems Ltd. This page explains how to delete your HELM account and exactly what happens to your data.
Delete from inside the app
This is immediate and needs no email.
- Open HELM
- Go to Settings
- Tap Account
- Tap Delete account
- Confirm when prompted
Your account is deleted straight away. You are signed out and returned to the welcome screen. There is no recovery period — deletion cannot be undone.
Delete by email
If you can no longer sign in, or you have already removed the app, email info@azimuthsystemsltd.com from the address you registered with, using the subject line Delete my HELM account.
We complete deletion within 30 days, and normally within a few working days. We may first ask you to confirm you own the email address.
What is deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes, immediately:
- your account and sign-in credentials, including any Apple or Google sign-in link
- your email address
- your profile, including subscription status and referral code
- your AI Oral Examiner session records, including scores and grades
- your referral records
- all active sessions, on every device
Study progress, flashcard scheduling, exam results and downloaded reference content are stored on your device, never on our servers. These are erased from the device as part of the same deletion, and uninstalling HELM removes anything left.
What is kept, and for how long
- Purchase and subscription records are held by Apple and Google, not by us. We cannot delete them, and they are governed by Apple's and Google's own privacy policies. Cancel or manage a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
- Subscription records held by our billing provider, RevenueCat, are kept after deletion so refunds, chargebacks and billing disputes can be resolved. Ask in your deletion email and we will have these erased too.
- Anonymous crash and diagnostic reports may be kept for up to 90 days to fix faults. They carry no name, email or account identifier and cannot be traced back to you.
Nothing else is retained.
